| Day 1 |
Arrive at Damascus Airport. Meet and assist, Transfer to Hotel. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Damascus. |
| Day 2 |
After breakfast, sightseeing of Damascus including the National Museum, Omayyed Mosque, Azem Palace, the House of Anania, St.Paul’s window, and the souks. Depart to Nabk village. Drive to the nearest point to Deir Moussa Monastry. To reach Mar Moussa you need to walk about 45 minutes through the steep path as did pilgrims in the ancient times. Dinner and overnight at Deir Moussa Monastry. |
| Day 3 |
After breakfast, walk back to the car and drive toward Krak des chevaliers. You may walk across the village of Al Hosn to reach the Crusader’s citadel at the highest point of it. Visit the Castle. Continue to Hama then Apamée. Visit the Hellenistic sit and drive toward a village called Kafar Amme near Aleppo. Dinner and overnight at one of the villagers’ house. |
| Day 4 |
After a typical Syrian breakfast depart to St. Simeon area and visit Katoura and Refadeh both of them were prosperous Byzantine villages with many impressive ruins left then drive to the Catherdral of St Simeon. Visit the site. Continue to Aleppo. Dinner and overnight in Aleppo. |
| Day 5 |
Breakfast. Visit Aleppo: The 12th century Citadel, explore the tremendous bazaar with 20.000 shops and many caravanserais and discover the Islamic and ottoman architecture. Depart toward South Aleppo with special bedouin’s pick-up to see a landscape where few visitors have been. The journey will lead you to Jabboul Lake : a 20 km long and 6 km large water plan formed by a salty lake and water overflow of the Euphrates Dam irrigation project. You will see wild birds and traditional villages built with mud and straw bricks. Arrive Isriya and enter the desert path with desert guides. At sunset you will reach a desert camp erected for you and spend the night at the camp under bedouin’s tent. |
| Day 6 |
Ride the desert with camels accompanied by the camel men for 20 km then take the special pic-ups and drive to Palmyra. Arrive at sunset at Palmyra. Dinner and overnight at hotel. |
| Day 7 |
After breakfast, visit the site of Palmyra and walk the hill toward the Arabian citadel. Depart PM toward Damascus. Dinner and overnight. |
| Day 8 |
After breakfast, transfer to Damascus international airport - Departure. |
